A Business-Class configuration born from an advanced geometry

The configuration behind Caelum works exceptionally well as you increase the pitch. Originally the 42" pitch footprint was a solution for Premium-Economy. An increase to around 60" pitch, we can show a full-flat, all-aisle access, a super-efficient yet spacious Business-class seat configuration. Comparatively, the geometry allows for 12 pax of Caelum Business-Class seats in the same cabin length. In contrast to 10 pax of inward or outward-facing generic herringbone seats at a 33" pitch. Which is an extra row in a very short A320 Business-Class cabin. The paired geometry coupled with the angle at this pitch allows for a generous width with a seat pan at 21". The widest part of the footprint is an impressive 35 inches. Compared to these age-old herringbone solutions, Caelum does not stack tightly and repetitively. Instead, each pair nestles behind the other, allowing for that extra width. The nestle is the beauty of the advanced geometry we mentioned earlier. The first and last row of seats utilizes space much better with minimum dead space. Finally, one great feature the geometry provides is a double bed option for every pair by dropping the center screen.
